Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a caring Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming Lordshill primary school on a long-term basis. The role focuses on classroom support and dedicated 1:1 assistance for a pupil with SEN to help them access learning.

The ideal candidate will have patience, reliability and the ability to build positive relationships, with a current Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one. Competitive pay and long-term opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school setting is desirable.
• Previous SEN support experience is an advantage.
• DBS disclosure on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Teaching Personnel is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming primary school in Lordshill on a long-term basis.

This rewarding role involves providingclassroom support and 1:1 support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to access learning and reach their full potential.

The Role

• Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities.
• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child with SEN.
• Help create an engaging, inclusive and positive learning environment.
• Encourage the pupil's academic, social and emotional development.
• Work closely with teaching staff and the school's SEN team.

The Ideal Candidate
