Job summary

Linq Recruitment Specialists is representing a SEN School in Stockport, seeking a Nurturing Teaching Assistant to join on a contract or permanent basis. You will work with pupils aged 7-17 who have ASC, ADHD or speech, language and communication needs in a warm, supportive environment.

Role offers term-time only, Monday–Friday, with small classes and a multidisciplinary team. You’ll gain specialist SEN experience through diverse 1:1, group and classroom-based support.

Qualifications

• Experience working with SEN settings (ASC, ADHD, speech & language needs).
• Ability to support 1:1, group and classroom activities.
• Willingness to work term-time in small classes.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with ASC, ADHD and communication needs in lessons.
• Assist in 1:1 and group activities within a classroom setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and adapt activities.

Job description

We're currently representing a SEN School based in Stockport, who are looking for a Nurturing Teaching Assistant to join them on either a contract or permanent basis. You will be working with children aged 7 - 17, with ASC, ADHD or Speech, Language and Communication needs.

The school offers a very supportive environment, with a real sense of warmth and care that underpins their day to day work with pupils. The school is set over 20 acres of countryside, and has a stable management team who offer extensive guidance and advice.
