Job summary

Advanced Learning Partnership is seeking a Teaching Assistant in Spennymoor, DL16, to support a Year 1 pupil with SEND on a 1:1 basis. You will join a friendly school and work 5 days a week, 8:30am–3:30pm.

Experience with primary school children and SEND is essential, along with a passion for pupil progress and the ability to work as part of a team. This is a temporary, full-time role with PAYE rates and a supportive staff structure.

£462.80 - £525 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

On behalf of Advanced Learning Partnership, we are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly school in Spennymoor, DL16. Workingas part of an established team, the Teaching Assistant will be supporting a child in Year 1 with additional needs on a 1:1 basis. The needs of the child includes Autism and sensory awareness. The role would be 5 days a week, 8.30am – 3.30pm. Experience working with children with SEND would be essential. The school has a supportive senior leadership team and can be accessed on public transport.
