Job summary

GSL Education - Chelmsford are seeking enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support students within a SEND school setting in Southend. You will help pupils access the curriculum, build confidence, and develop independence alongside teachers and support staff.

The role offers competitive daily pay, ongoing training, and long‑term opportunities within education. Experience in education or related roles is desirable, and safeguarding checks including enhanced DBS are required.

  • Help students prepare for assessments, coursework, and examinations.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Position: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Location: Southend

Salary Scale: £93 £120 per day (Depending on Experience)

Contract Type: Full-time

GSL are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support students within a SEND school setting. This role involves working closely with teachers and support staff to help students access the curriculum, build confidence, develop independence, and achieve their full academic and personal potential.

You will support students with a range of learning needs and abilities, helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every young person can thrive and succeed.
