Job summary

Reeson Education in Salford is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in the M6 area. This full-time, long-term role involves supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 with a range of learning and communication needs, including 1:1 and small group sessions.

You will work with teachers, SENCOs and parents to support individual education plans, help manage behaviour, and promote a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply.
• Two professional references covering the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support as well as small group interventions in phonics, literacy, and numeracy.
• Support across Key Stage 1 with pupils who have a range of learning and communication needs.

• Liaise with teachers, SENCOs and parents to support individual education plans.
