Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd in Rotherham is seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant to join a primary school on a temporary, full-time basis. You will work on-site, supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2 and collaborating with class teachers to aid learning and engagement.

The role starts ASAP with daily pay of £95–£105. A DBS and commitment to safeguarding are expected as part of working with children.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a primary school based in Rotherham who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. The school is looking for a positive and enthusiastic individual who can contribute to a supportive learning environment and help pupils achieve their potential.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Teaching Assistant will work alongside class teachers to support learning, encourage pupil engagement and provide additional classroom support where required.

Key responsibilities

• Experience working with children in a primary school or educational setting
• Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and/or KS2
• A good understanding of supporting children's learning and development
• A positive and proactive approach
• Adaptability and a willingness to support across the school
