TeacherActive Ltd in Stockport is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support students across KS3 and KS4 in a mainstream secondary school. This is a long-term temporary, on-site position with day rates between £100 and £130, and a commitment to helping learners engage in lessons.

You will work alongside teaching staff to create a positive classroom environment, support individual and small group tasks, and help maintain high standards of behaviour and learning throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary-aged students.
• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
• Experience supporting students across KS3 and KS4.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient and adaptable approach.
• A positive 'can-do' attitude.

Responsabilités

• Support students with their learning and encourage engagement in lessons.
• Help maintain a positive classroom environment and support teaching staff.
• Work with students across KS3/KS4 and monitor progress.
• Assist with differentiating instruction and small group support.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a long-term temporary basis, supporting students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful Teaching Assistant will work alongside teaching staff to support students with their learning, encourage engagement in lessons and help maintain a positive classroom environment.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with secondary-aged students
