The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support teachers with the delivery of engaging classroom activities.
  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students where required.
  • Help pupils develop their academic, social and emotional skills.
  • Support students with additional learning needs.
  • Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and maintain a safe learning environment.
  • Monitor and provide feedback on students' progress.
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff and parents/carers.
