Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Teaching Assistant in Doncaster to support KS2 pupils on a day-to-day basis with an immediate start. You will assist the class teacher and help create a positive and engaging learning environment.

The role requires experience with primary-aged pupils and a good understanding of the Primary Curriculum, with a positive, reliable and proactive approach to learning.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a primary school or educational setting.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a primary school in Doncaster who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. The school provides education for primary-aged pupils, with the successful Teaching Assistant working within Key Stage 2 / KS2.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a day-to-day basis with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils with their learning, work alongside the class teacher and help create a positive and engaging classroom environment.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children in a primary school or educational setting
• Experience supporting pupils within Key Stage 2 / KS2
• A good understanding of the Primary Curriculum
• Strong communication and classroom support skills
• A positive and proactive approach
• Adaptability and reliability
