Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School near Hartlepool, delivering 1:1 and small group support across KS1 and KS2. The role is long-term, starting ASAP, with daily rates of £95-£105.

You will work with pupils with SEND, using patient, adaptable approaches, and collaborate with colleagues. The school seeks a Level 3 TA with relevant qualification, SEND experience and excellent teamwork, to help pupils engage with learning and access the curriculum.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting children with SEND and complex needs.
• Experience working across KS1 and KS2.

Responsibilities

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Primary School in Newcastle that is looking to appoint a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant. The school is seeking a caring and resilient individual who can provide consistent support to pupils with a range of complex SEND needs.

The school is looking to take on a Level 3 Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will provide 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils to engage with learning, develop their independence and access the curriculum.

The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience supporting children with SEND and complex needs
• Experience working across KS1 and KS2
• Experience providing 1:1 and small group support
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
