Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a full-time role in Sheffield, starting September. You will support students across KS3/KS4 in mainstream and alternative settings, providing classroom and targeted intervention support.

The role involves working with pupils with SEND, SEMH and behavioural needs, requiring a patient, resilient and collaborative approach. PAYE pay, 24/7 consultant support and ongoing CPD are offered.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in a secondary school, SEND or alternative provision setting.
• Knowledge of SEND, SEMH and behavioural needs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Patient, resilient and proactive approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Yorkshire and Humber/ contract / £95 - 110 per day

Salary: £95 - £110 per day depending on experience and role

We are looking to recruit a Level 3 Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis from September. The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will support students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, providing both classroom and targeted intervention support. This Level 3 Teaching Assistant role may involve working with students with SEND needs, behavioural challenges, SEMH needs and those requiring additional support to access the curriculum within mainstream and alternative provision settings.

Qualities and Experience Required

• Level 2 or level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent


• Experience supporting children or young people within a secondary school, SEND or alternative provision setting


• Knowledge of supporting students with SEND, SEMH or behavioural needs
