Are you a SEN Teaching Assistant ready for a new role? Would you like to work in an SEN setting in Preston, supporting children within the classroom? We are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants for a full‑time role in an SEN school in Preston. You will be supporting children aged (phone number removed) or within small groups. Pupils within the school have varying needs, including autism, learning disabilities and complex needs.

Key Requirements
  • Experience and understanding of how to support young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs
  • School experience supporting students in a classroom or 1‑1
  • References covering the last two years
  • Hold a current DBS on the update service, or are willing to complete a new DBS
  • The Right to Work in the UK
Duties
  • Supporting and supervising educational games, sports, and craft activities
  • Preparing the classroom before lessons
  • Working with pupils in small groups and working 1:1 with children with additional needs
  • Putting together displays of children's work
  • Supporting teachers in managing class behaviour
  • Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks
  • Supervising group activities
