Job summary

Vision For Education Ltd. is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant for a full-time, temporary role in a primary school in North Shields. The position runs October 2026 to July 2027, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, with competitive weekly pay of £480–£500 depending on experience.

You will support children across the provision, helping to create a safe, nurturing learning environment. A full TA qualification and recent primary experience, with safeguarding knowledge, are essential for

Teaching Assistant(Full Time, Temporary)

£480 - £500 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

We are looking for am EYFS Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in North Shields. This full-time role is due to begin in October and will continue until July. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.

Working within the team, the desired Teaching Assistant will support children across the provision, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.

The successful candidate must hold a full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification and have recent experience working within a Primary setting. A strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and supporting children with a range of needs is essential.

Requirements

• Experience of working with primary school aged children


• Experience of working with pupils with SEND


• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils


• An ability to work as part of a team


• QTS within the UK
