Vision for Education is looking to recruit enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to work in schools across North Tyneside and surrounding areas.
We have a range of opportunities available, including day-to-day, short-term and long-term roles, with the potential for permanent opportunities.
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work alongside class teachers to support pupils with their learning and development. Depending on the role, you may work with pupils on a 1:1 basis, in small groups or as part of the wider classroom, helping them to engage with learning and make progress.
Your responsibilities may include supporting pupils across the curriculum, helping to create a positive learning environment, providing additional support where required and encouraging pupils to develop their confidence and independence.
You'll work as part of a supportive school team and have the opportunity to gain valuable experience across a range of educational settings.
To be considered for a Teaching Assistant role, you will need:
Previous school-based experience is desirable; however, we also welcome applications from candidates with relevant experience in childcare, care, youth work, sports coaching or other support-based roles.
