TeacherActive Limited is recruiting an SEMH Teaching Assistant for a secondary school in Ollerton. You will provide 1:1 and small group SEMH support to students, helping them engage with learning and progress.

Starting ASAP, the role is full-time and long-term. The successful candidate will be patient, resilient and proactive, with excellent communication skills to positively support young people.

Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £95 - £110 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Ollerton that is looking to appoint an SEMH Teaching Assistant. The school is seeking a supportive and committed individual who can help students engage positively with their education and school environment.

The school is looking to take on an SEMH Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis, starting ASAP. The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will provide 1 to 1 and small group support to secondary-aged students, helping them manage their SEMH needs, engage with learning and make positive progress.

The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting secondary-aged students with SEMH or additional needs
• Experience providing 1 to 1 and small group support
• A confident and proactive approach to supporting young people
• Excellent communication skills
• Patience, resilience and adaptability
• A positive 'can-do' attitude
