Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting enthusiastic and reliable teaching assistants for supply opportunities across primary and secondary schools in London and surrounding areas. Roles vary from day-to-day supply to longer-term placements, with the potential for longer-term or permanent opportunities depending on the setting.

Typical duties include general classroom support, 1:1 or small-group assistance, and working alongside teaching staff to foster a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• A relevant teaching assistant qualification is desirable.

TeacherActive is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable teaching assistants for supply opportunities across primary schools in Orpington. We work with a range of local schools requiring high-quality classroom support to help pupils engage positively with their learning.

Opportunities are available across primary and secondary settings, with roles ranging from day-to-day supply to longer-term placements. Depending on the setting, the successful applicant may provide general classroom, 1:1 or small-group support, working alongside teaching staff to create a positive learning environment. Longer-term and permanent opportunities may also be available where suitable.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• A relevant teaching assistant qualification is desirable
• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
