Job summary

Engage Partners Limited in London is recruiting a secondary Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS3 and KS4, in busy Tower Hamlets schools from September. You will work with teachers to provide learning support, coaching and pastoral help, and deliver one-to-one and small-group assistance as needed.

Experience with SEND, SEMH, autism or challenging behaviour is valued. The role offers full-time, part-time or long-term opportunities, with daily rates up to £120 and a supportive education

Responsibilities

• Support students across KS3 and KS4 in the classroom.
• Work closely with teachers to provide effective learning and pastoral support.

• Contribute to monitoring student progress and communicating relevant information to teaching staff.

We are working with a number of secondary schools across Tower Hamlets who are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September. These roles are ideal for experienced TAs, graduates, Learning Support Assistants and individuals looking to develop a career in education.

The Role

As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students across KS3 and KS4 in the classroom.
• Work closely with teachers to provide effective learning and pastoral support.

• Have experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school or education setting.
• Have a genuine passion for supporting students to reach their potential.
• Be confident, patient and approachable.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to support students with challenging behaviour and/or additional needs.
• Be proactive and willing to work as part of a wider teaching and pastoral team.
• Have a professional, reliable and flexible approach.

Experience supporting SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD or challenging behaviour would be highly desirable.
