Experienced Teaching Assistant - Primary/Secondary School (Leicester)

Location: Leicester
Role: Full-Time Teaching Assistant
Salary: £85 - £100 per day (DOE)
Start Date: ASAP

Are you a skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next challenge? Aspire People is working with a fantastic primary/secondary school in Leicester, and we're on the lookout for a passionate individual to join their team. This role is perfect for someone with a proven track record in education, eager to make a difference in the lives of students.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the class teacher in supporting the delivery of engaging lessons to students of varying abilities.
Provide one-on-one and small group support for students to ensure their learning is tailored to their needs.
Support students in both academic and pastoral care to foster a positive and productive classroom environment.
Help with classroom organisation, preparing materials, and administrative tasks.
Contribute to the overall well-being of the students, ensuring they are engaged and motivated.

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a UK primary or secondary school (this is a must).
A strong understanding of the UK curriculum and the needs of students at different stages of their education.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage students and work closely with teachers and parents.
Ability to manage a classroom effectively and support students' emotional and social development.
A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to your work.
A minimum of Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred but not essential.
