Job summary

Aspire People Limited is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils in Leicester primary schools from September. You can choose from full-time or part-time roles that fit school hours.

Join a dedicated team providing one-to-one and group support, helping children achieve their potential in a positive, inclusive learning environment. DBS checks and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a UK primary school or nursery (essential).
  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs is desirable.
  • Availability to work school hours (8:30am-3:30pm).
  • A caring, patient and proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.
  • Support class teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
