Job summary

Aspire People Limited is recruiting Primary School Teaching Assistants to support multiple primary schools across Leicestershire. Start dates are immediate with ongoing opportunities in various settings.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one.
• TA qualification Level 2/3 is beneficial but not required.
• Experience in education is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across subjects.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support, including for SEN.
• Encourage social, emotional, and academic development.
• Help create a positive, safe, inclusive classroom environment.
• Prepare activities and learning resources.
• Monitor progress and give feedback to teachers.
• Support daily routines, breaks, and school activities.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Primary School Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in helping pupils learn, grow, and build confidence by:

• Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects
• Providing 1:1 and small group support, including for children with SEN or additional learning needs
• Encouraging pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
• Helping to create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Preparing classroom activities and learning resources
• Monitoring student progress and providing valuable feedback to teachers
• Supporting daily classroom routines, breaktimes, and school activities
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
