Job summary

Aspire People is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary School Teaching Assistants to support partner schools across Leicestershire. You will help deliver engaging lessons, provide 1:1 and group support, and contribute to a safe, inclusive classroom.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS (Update Service) or willingness to obtain one
• Teaching Assistant qualification Level 2/3 is beneficial but not required

Responsibilities

• Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects
• Providing 1:1 and small group support, including for children with SEN or additional learning needs
• Encouraging pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
• Helping to create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Preparing classroom activities and learning resources
• Monitoring student progress and providing valuable feedback to teachers
• Supporting daily classroom routines, breaktimes, and school activities
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
