Are you a dedicated and experienced educator passionate about making a difference in the lives of Children with English as an Additional Language and/or with Special Educational Needs? At Co-op Academy Leeds, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to meet the evolving needs of English as an Additional Language and/or SEN pupils. You will develop and implement personalised learning to support each pupil’s unique needs and abilities, using innovative teaching methods and resources to engage and inspire our students. You will foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes confidence and growth.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Are anexcellentpractitioner.
  • Experience of working with young people (this may be in a paid or voluntary position)
  • Areconfidentin the classroom and understand how children earn.
  • Havehigh expectationsof what can be achieved.
  • Seek to buildpositiverelationships with children.
  • Areflexiblewith a good sense of humour and an understanding of the ‘bigger picture’.
  • Are able to work to their owninitiativeas well as part of a team.
