Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant in Kidderminster on a full-time, long-term basis. You will support pupils with SEMH and EBD across Key Stages, helping them access engaging learning and therapies in a nurturing environment.

The role requires a qualified TA, strong behaviour management, and the ability to deliver differentiated lessons. The school emphasises inclusion, patience, and a therapeutic approach to help pupils thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications

• Experience working with pupils with SEND, particularly SEMH and EBD OR ASD / MLD / SLD
• Experience planning and delivering differentiated lessons

Salary: £150 - £220 per day

These settings promote a nurturing culture and therapeutic approach, providing pupils with a supportive environment in which they can develop academically, socially and emotionally.

TeacherActive are looking to take on a SEND Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis ASAP.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with pupils with SEND, particularly SEMH and EBD OR ASD / MLD / SLD
• Experience planning and delivering differentiated lessons
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to adapt teaching strategies to individual needs
• A patient, nurturing and resilient approach
