Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a SEND Qualified Teacher in Kidderminster to provide long-term, full-time support from September. You will plan and deliver differentiated lessons, adapt teaching to individual needs and manage challenging behaviour within SEMH and EBD settings.

The role involves monitoring pupil progress and collaborating with teaching assistants and other professionals to ensure consistent support across all learning areas.

Job Title: SEND Qualified Teacher
Location: Kidderminster
Start Date: September
Salary: £150 - £220 per day

Do you have strong behaviour management skills and a nurturing approach to teaching?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with multiple SEND schools in Kidderminster that supports pupils across all Key Stages with SEMH and EBD. These settings promote a nurturing culture and therapeutic approach, providing pupils with a supportive environment in which they can develop academically, socially and emotionally.

TeacherActive are looking to take on a SEND Qualified Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from September. The successful SEND Qualified Teacher will plan and deliver differentiated lessons, adapt teaching to individual needs, manage challenging behaviour, monitor pupil progress and work closely with teaching assistants and other professionals to provide consistent support.

The successful SEND Qualified Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience working with pupils with SEND, particularly SEMH and EBD
• Experience planning and delivering differentiated lessons
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to adapt teaching strategies to individual needs
• A patient, nurturing and resilient approach
