Job summary

Inspiring Teaching is seeking multiple Teaching Assistants to join a brilliant Special Needs School in Walthamstow. You will support students with daily needs, including autism and significant learning difficulties, using strong behaviour management and a positive, resilient approach. DBS checks and right to work in the UK are required.

Typical hours are 8:30am to 4:00pm, with a daily rate of £102. If you are passionate about safeguarding and helping diverse learners, this role is a great fit.

Qualifications

• Experience with students who have autism, significant learning difficulties, and additional medical needs.
• Strong behaviour management and good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport with students, carers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with daily needs in a Special Needs School.
• Support classroom activities and follow teacher instructions.
• Monitor student behaviour and communicate progress to the teaching team.

nspiring Teaching are currently seeking multiple Teaching Assistants to work at our brilliant Special Needs School based in Walthamstow

We are looking for candidates who can assist with students daily needs and ideally have experience working with children who have autism, significant learning difficulties and additional medical needs.

As a Teaching Assistant or student support assistant, you must have a natural aptitude on the behaviour management and interpersonal skills as well as a very enthusiastic and positive manner. You must be able to have a level of resilience, be able to build rapport easily and will ideally have experience working with students who have Autism, physical & sensory disabilities and learning difficulties.

All successful candidates will be subject to DBS and reference checks and will need to have the right to work in the UK.

Typical hours are 8:30am to 1600 (daily rate is £102)
