Job summary

Inspiring Teaching are currently seeking multiple teaching assistants to work at our brilliant Primary School based in Strood.

We are looking for candidates who can assist with students’ daily needs and ideally have experience working with children who have autism, significant learning difficulties and additional medical needs. All successful candidates will be subject to DBS and reference checks and will need to have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Must have a natural attitude in behaviour management and interpersonal skills.
• Be enthusiastic and positive.
• Able to build rapport and have resilience; experience with autism/learning difficulties is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with students’ daily needs in class.
• Support students with autism, learning difficulties, and medical needs.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive school environment.

Requirements

As a teaching assistant or student support assistant, you must have a natural attitude in behaviour management and interpersonal skills as well as a very enthusiastic and positive manner.

You must be able to have a level of resilience, be able to build rapport easily and will ideally have experience working with students who have Autism, physical & sensory disabilities and learning difficulties.

Additional Details
