TeacherActive Ltd in Gravesend is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. The role involves 1:1 support and small group interventions, including SEND support to help pupils access learning and gain confidence.

The position is permanent, full-time, on-site, with a pay rate of £100-£120 per day, dependent on experience. A dedicated consultant team supports onboarding and ongoing professional development.

Formación

• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3) is desirable.
• Experience in a mainstream primary school setting.
• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Experience delivering 1:1 pupil support and small group work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt learning activities to pupil needs.
• Patient, positive and understanding approach to learning and development.

Responsabilidades

Working pattern: On-site

The successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting pupils across Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS, Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2, providing both 1:1 support and small group interventions, including supporting children with SEND to access learning and develop their confidence and independence.

Qualifications and experience required:

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification / Level 2 or Level 3 (desirable but not essential)


• Previous experience working within a mainstream primary school setting


• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities / SEND


• Experience delivering 1:1 pupil support and working with small groups across different year groups


• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt learning activities to meet individual pupil needs


• A patient, positive and understanding approach, with a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
