Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 within a Nursery class in Ebbw Vale. The successful candidate will support pupils with learning and development, build positive relationships and help create a safe, engaging classroom environment on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities include supporting children on a 1:1 basis, with experience in school or childcare preferred. A caring, patient attitude and excellent communication skills are essential, with Level 2 TA

Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Location: Ebbw Vale

Start Date: September

Salary: £85 - £93 per day

Do you enjoy supporting young children during the early stages of their education? Are you confident working on a 1:1 basis within a Nursery setting? Do you have a caring and patient approach to supporting children with additional learning needs?

We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis within a Nursery class. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils with their learning and development, build positive relationships and help create a safe and engaging classroom environment on a day to day basis.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children within a school or childcare setting
• Experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis
• A caring, patient and nurturing attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• A flexible and proactive approach
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
