Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Llandrindod Wells. The role is temporary this September, working full-time to support pupils and assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 2/3 TA qualification or have relevant classroom experience, with strong communication and a proactive approach to helping children reach their learning goals.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant classroom experience.
• Previous experience working within a primary school setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to support pupils with a range of learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across the classroom alongside the class teacher.
• Deliver targeted interventions where required and help create an engaging learning environment.

The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the classroom, deliver targeted interventions where required and help create an engaging and positive learning environment for all learners.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant classroom experience
• Previous experience working within a primary school setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to support pupils with a range of learning needs
• A proactive, reliable and enthusiastic approach
• A commitment to promoting positive outcomes for children
