Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting Teaching Assistants across Neath Port Talbot to support pupils in welcoming primary schools. You don't need previous school experience or qualifications; if you've worked with children in childcare, youth work, volunteering or coaching, we'd like to hear from you.

Earn £85.50-£93 per day with weekly PAYE pay, immediate starts and a range of full-time, part-time and flexible supply roles.

Qualifications

• No prior school experience required.
• Experience working with children or young people through childcare, youth work, volunteering, coaching or similar settings is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher during lessons and support pupils.
• Work 1:1 or with small groups to aid learning.
• Support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
• Encourage positive behaviour and independence.
• Help pupils stay engaged with their learning.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
