Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils in Swansea and surrounding areas. Join a welcoming team across primary key stages, providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning needs and helping create a positive learning environment.

We offer full-time and flexible day-to-day supply work, with ongoing consultant support and progression opportunities through CPD, plus our £100 Refer a Friend scheme and weekly PAYE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience working with children.
• Experience can be voluntary, school-based, or from transferable roles (youth work, care, coaching, etc.).
• A passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Caring, reliable and ready to make a difference in the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
• Providing one-to-one or small group support to pupils.
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
