TeacherActive is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to provide flexible day-to-day supply cover across primary schools in Brecon starting September 2026. You will support class teachers, assist with activities, and help pupils across year groups in varied classroom environments.

The role offers flexible day-to-day work with dedicated consultants, CPD opportunities, and market leading pay. PAYE payroll ensures correct tax and NI handling for staff.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant classroom experience.
• Previous experience working within UK primary schools.

We are looking to recruit a full-time Teaching Assistant to provide flexible day-to-day supply cover across primary schools in Brecon from September 2026. The successful Teaching Assistant will support class teachers, work with pupils across a range of year groups, assist with classroom activities and adapt confidently to different school settings while maintaining a positive and professional approach.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant classroom experience
• Previous experience working within UK primary schools

• A proactive, reliable and enthusiastic attitude
