Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is hiring Supply Teaching Assistants to support children in primary schools across Derby. Roles are flexible, covering EYFS through KS2, with day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements.

The Role

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you'll support teachers in creating engaging learning environments and help pupils reach their full potential. Responsibilities may include:

• Delivering one-to-one and small group interventions.
• Assisting children with varying learning needs, including pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupil engagement.
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Supporting teachers with classroom preparation and daily learning activities.
