Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Derby with flexible day-to-day, short-term, long-term, and potential permanent opportunities. The Role

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you'll support teachers in creating engaging learning environments and help pupils reach their full potential.

• Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Delivering one-to-one and small group interventions.
• Assisting children with varying learning needs, including pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupil engagement.
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Supporting teachers with classroom preparation and daily learning activities.

We're Looking For

• Experience working with children in any capacity (school experience is beneficial but not essential).
• A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach.

• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
