Job summary

Redhill Academy Trust is seeking a Teaching Assistant in Chesterfield to join a supportive team. The role is full-time, term-time only, and aligns with the Band 7 Scale Points 32-36. You will work with SENDCO and classroom teachers to adapt resources and support pupils’ progress.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication, a positive attitude, and dedication to pupils’ development within a safeguarding-focused environment. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude with a genuine commitment to supporting pupils' academic and personal development.
• Assist classroom teachers to ensure pupils, including those with SEND, progress well and participate in lessons.
• Work with SENDCO and subject teachers to adjust teaching and resources to individual needs.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will a ssist classroom teachers in their work in ensuring that students with special education needs make good progress and participate in lessons

The successful candidate will work with the SENDCO and subject teachers to ensure that teaching and resources are adjusted in line with individual student profiles - helping prepare resources as necessary.

You’ll provide support for students, parents, teachers and the school to establish a supportive and nurturing learning environment.
