Job summary

Randstad Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants to join a network of primary and secondary schools across Bishop's Stortford and East Hertfordshire. You will support daily lesson delivery, help pupils with reading, writing and numeracy, and foster an inclusive learning environment.

Experience with children or youth work is welcomed, as is a patient, empathetic approach and strong English and maths communication. An Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people in settings such as schools, nurseries, sports coaching, or youth work.
• A patient, empathetic, and "can-do" approach to classroom support.
• Strong communication skills with a good proficiency in English and Maths.
• An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete a new check).
• Candidates must reside in or within easy commuting distance of Bishop's Stortford (CM23).
