Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support learning across Bishop's Stortford and East Hertfordshire, including Sawbridgeworth, Stansted Mountfitchet, and Takeley. Open to experienced staff, graduates, or those from care backgrounds, with flexible full-time, part-time, or ad-hoc schedules.

Responsibilities include assisting teachers, delivering small group support, and creating an inclusive classroom.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or young people in settings such as schools, nurseries, sports coaching, or youth work.
• A patient, empathetic, and "can-do" approach to classroom support.
• Strong communication skills with a good proficiency in English and Maths.
• An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete a new check).
• Candidates must reside in or within easy commuting distance of Bishop's Stortford (CM23).
