Job summary

Randstad Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants to support students across Bishop's Stortford and the East Hertfordshire area. The role involves assisting with daily lesson delivery, setting up activities, and managing groups in busy classrooms.

Ideal candidates have prior experience with children or youth, a patient and empathetic approach, and strong English and maths communication skills. DBS Update Service is preferred, with local commuting to CM23 considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people in settings such as schools, nurseries, sports coaching, or youth work.
• A patient, empathetic, and "can-do" approach to classroom support.
• Strong communication skills with a good proficiency in English and Maths.
• An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete a new check).
• Candidates must reside in or within easy commuting distance of Bishop's Stortford (CM23).
