Job summary

Randstad Education in Bishop's Stortford is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils across East Hertfordshire. You may work in primary or secondary settings, with flexibility for full-time, part-time or ad-hoc supply roles.

Responsibilities include assisting teachers with lessons, supporting 1:1 and small groups to boost reading, writing and numeracy, and fostering an inclusive learning environment in local schools. DBS required or update service.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in schools, nurseries, sports coaching, or youth work.
• Patient, empathetic, and can-do approach to classroom support.
• Strong communication skills in English and Maths.
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to complete a new check).
• Candidates must reside in or within easy commuting distance of Bishop's Stortford (CM23).
