Job summary

Teaching Personnel are recruiting a full-time Religious Education teacher for a January 2027 start at a client secondary school in central Bury. The role is full-time and paid in line with the Teacher Pay Scale M1-UPS3.

Applicants must hold QTS and a PGCE specialising in secondary Religious Education. You will deliver RE to students aged 11-16 at GCSE, contribute to raising attainment in humanities, and comply with safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status and a PGCE specialising in secondary Religious Education.

Our client secondary school are looking to appoint a Religious Education Teacher to deliver the curriculum to students aged 11-16 at GCSE level. You will be an enthusiastic teacher with excellent knowledge of the Religious Education Curriculum. With a track record of excellent classroom practice, you will contribute to raising attainment levels within the humanities department.

Role responsibilities:
