Job summary

Teaching Personnel are recruiting a full-time Religious Education teacher for a January 2027 start at a client secondary school in central Bury. The role is full-time and paid in line with the Teacher Pay Scale M1-UPS3.

Applicants must hold QTS and a PGCE specialising in secondary Religious Education. You will deliver RE to students aged 11-16 at GCSE, contribute to raising attainment in humanities, and comply with safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE specialising in secondary Religious Education.
• Experience delivering Religious Education to GCSE level is desirable.
• Strong classroom practice with ability to raise attainment within the humanities department.
