Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting a passionate RE Teacher for a Wakefield secondary school on a full-time supply basis starting in January. You will deliver engaging Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, planning and assessing to support student progress.

The role offers supportive leadership, ongoing professional development and the chance to make a real difference in a welcoming school community.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Religious Education in a UK secondary school
  • Strong subject knowledge in RE
  • Ability to engage, inspire and motivate students
  • Excellent classroom management
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities
  • Commitment to equality, inclusion and respect for different beliefs and cultures
  • Proactive and professional approach to teaching and learning
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willing to obtain one

Responsibilities

  • Teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons aligned to the national curriculum
  • Assess, monitor and track student progress

Are you a passionate and inspirational Religious Education Teacher looking for your next teaching opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic RE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Wakefield on a full-time supply basis from January.

The Role

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for RE
  • The ability to engage, inspire and motivate students
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities

  • A proactive and professional approach to teaching and learning
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
