Job summary

Empowering Learning is recruiting an enthusiastic PE teacher to work in a secondary school in Oxfordshire. The role is a short-term supply placement with planning responsibilities and support for learning, using supplied resources.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of PE teaching experience (ECTs welcome) and a genuine passion for developing student standards through creative, engaging lessons delivered across year groups.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching PE in a school setting.
• Degree or equivalent teaching experience.
• Confident in managing groups across year groups.
• Strong passion for engaging students in physical education.

Responsibilities

• Lead PE lessons and support learning in a secondary school.

Job description

Empowering Learning are currently recruiting an enthusiastic teacher of PE, to work in a secondary school in Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will have a desire to improve student standards and want to share their own creative ideas and experience. The role will commence as a short term supply arrangement - it will also involve planning of other lessons and subject but resources are provided.

You will ideally have at least 2 years teaching experience in PE, although ECT's are welcome to apply.

• Is confident in managing groups of students across various year groups and subjects.
• Holds a degree or equivalent experience in a teaching setting.
• Previous experience of teaching PE in a school setting.
• Strong passion for the arts and inspiring students Is highly organised, motivated and driven to succeed
• Is a specialist in PE with the ability to teach all sports including netball, gymnastics, dance, football, fitness, rounders and athletics
• Is a team member who will collaborate with colleagues to ensure the progress of students
• Ideally has a proven track record of achieving outstanding results at GCSE sport
