Job summary

Empowering Learning are currently recruiting an enthusiastic teacher of PE, to work in a secondary school in Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will have a desire to improve student standards and want to share their own creative ideas and experience.

The role will commence as a short term supply arrangement – it will also involve planning of other lessons and subject but resources are provided. You will ideally have at least 2 years teaching experience in PE, although ECT’s are welcome to

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree or equivalent teaching qualification.
• PE teaching experience; ECTs welcome to apply.
• Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PE lessons and support the learning journey for students.
• Plan future lessons and assess/assist across other subjects with provided resources.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and manage groups across year bands.
