Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Leeds is seeking an experienced Drainage Tanker Driver / HPWJ Operator to join their expanding team. Based in Leeds, you will operate a modern combination jetting and vacuum tanker, carrying out planned and reactive drainage works nationwide.

Requirements include a full UK driving licence with category C HGV, Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph and at least 2 years' HGV experience; drainage/utilities sector experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with Category C HGV.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Minimum 2 years’ HGV driving experience.
• Drainage, utilities or environmental sector experience.
• HPWJ, confined space or tanker experience desirable.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate combination jetting and vacuum tanker equipment.
• High Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ).
• Gully, catchpit, interceptor and culvert cleansing.
• Blockage removal and sewer/pipeline jetting.
• Wet well and pumping station cleaning.
• Vacuum excavation and sludge removal.
• Emergency call-outs and occasional nights away.
• Complete vehicle checks, job sheets and electronic records.
• Maintain high health, safety and customer service standards.

An expanding drainage and environmental services business is seeking an experienced Drainage Tanker Driver / HPWJ Operator to join their growing team in Leeds.

The Role of A Tanker Driver:

Based in Leeds, you will operate a modern combination jetting and vacuum tanker, carrying out planned and reactive drainage works nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate combination jetting and vacuum tanker equipment
• High Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ)
• Gully, catchpit, interceptor and culvert cleansing
• Blockage removal and sewer/pipeline jetting
• Wet well and pumping station cleaning
