Job summary

Lorien in Oldbury is seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant to drive high-volume recruitment across multiple locations. You will manage end-to-end processes, partner with hiring managers, and use data to track progress and mitigate risks.

This internal-facing role focuses on recruitment across business areas with no customer-facing duties, working 3 days on site in Oldbury and leveraging ATS tools to optimise candidate flow.

Qualifications

• Strong recruitment experience in internal/high-volume environment.
• End-to-end recruitment management from vacancy briefing to onboarding handover.
• Experience recruiting across multiple roles, locations or business areas.
• Stakeholder management with hiring managers; credible and proactive.
• Experience using attraction channels (job boards, social media, referrals, talent pools).
• Experience with an ATS and the importance of accurate recruitment data.
• Delivery-focused with ability to manage pipelines and hiring plans.
• Confident verbal, written and face-to-face communication.
• Attention to detail in recruitment administration; Excel/PowerPoint familiarity.
• Open to using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to improve productivity and quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for allocated business areas, from vacancy briefing to onboarding handover.
• Deliver against recruitment plans; communicate progress, risks and pipeline strength.
• Support local attraction activity to target relevant talent pools and direct hiring.
• Use recruitment data to track pipeline progress and conversion rates; highlight risks.
• Ensure accurate use of the ATS and maintain MI, compliance and pipeline management.
• Collaborate with TA Delivery Manager and wider team to improve processes and candidate experience.
• Support third-party screening where required and escalate issues appropriately.
• Act as recruitment point of contact for hiring managers; provide practical advice and support.
• Contribute to TA projects and champion new processes and systems.
• Keep recruitment records up to date and compliant with processes.
