Job summary

East West Railway Company is hiring a hands-on Talent Partner to lead end-to-end recruitment across technical and non-technical roles, partnering with senior leaders to shape proactive hiring strategies and build robust candidate pipelines.

You will drive employer branding, inclusive recruitment, and a seamless candidate experience, coordinating early career opportunities and workforce planning with the wider People team.

Qualifications

• End-to-end recruitment experience, preferably in the public sector
• Experience building candidate pipelines across multiple role types and seniority levels
• Experience using recruitment metrics (time to hire, source of hire, cost per hire)
• Knowledge of government frameworks, public sector hiring protocols is desirable

Responsibilities

• Own the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of roles across allocated business areas.
• Act as a trusted talent partner to senior leaders and hiring managers to develop a proactive recruitment strategy.
• Activate the employer brand in the market through targeted campaigns and partnerships.
• Lead direct sourcing and headhunting across multiple channels to deliver high-quality hires.
• Provide market intelligence and talent insight to shape hiring decisions and workforce planning.
• Coordinate and manage initiatives supporting early career development, including apprenticeships and graduate opportunities.
• Promote inclusive recruitment practices and bias‑free shortlisting.
