We have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Talent Acquisition Team, on a temporary basis to cover 12 months maternity leave.

You’ll be responsible for recruiting high volumes of candidates for our Customer Facing Teams in Operations (Fraud, Collection, and Complaints).

What you’ll do
  1. Work closely with the business to understand recruitment needs across our Customer Facing teams, post adverts, screen CVs, conduct telephone screening calls, and schedule assessment days.
  2. Proactively source candidates for key priority areas of immediate demand.
  3. Plan and manage your time effectively to screen a high volume of potential candidates to progress to interview.
  4. Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs to be able to recruit effectively for their hiring requirements.
  5. Identify new channels and methods to attract talent to Capital One.
  6. Have great conversations with potential candidates about life at Capital One and provide good insight into the role you’re recruiting for.
  7. Make offers to successful candidates and provide balanced feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
  8. Support with hiring for other business areas, depending on demand.
What we’re looking for
  1. Highly organised, with a natural sense of urgency as we like to respond to candidates and Hiring Managers as quickly as possible.
  2. Manage multiple priorities and track progress by recording accurate data.
  3. The ability to communicate effectively and with confidence, as you will be the face of Capital One to candidates.
  4. Comfortable picking up the phone and speaking with candidates and hiring managers.
  5. Great attention to detail.
  6. Collaborative mindset, contributing at team meetings, generating new ideas, or discussing opportunities.
Where and how you'll work

This position will be based in our Nottingham offices.

We have a hybrid working model offering flexibility to work from our offices and from home.

You’ll be based in our Nottingham office 3 days a week — Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Many associates have flexible working arrangements, and we’re open to discussing arrangements that work for you.

What’s in it for you
  1. A role contributing to an organization committed to transformation.
  2. Opportunities for high performers to progress and develop through our Capital One University training programs and external providers.
  3. Immediate access to core benefits including pension, bonus, holiday entitlement, private medical insurance, and flexible benefits such as season-ticket loans, cycle to work, and parental leave.
