Salary: £24,500 - £32,700 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
Contract type: 1 x Permanent role and 2 x 6 month fixed term contracts (Welsh language is desirable for one of the fixed term contracts)
Location: Flexible – Any BBC UK office base (London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Salford, Glasgow, Belfast) This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working.

The Talent Acquisition Advisor will be a trusted partner working in partnership with their hiring managers, providing a high quality, expert consultative service to the business. The Talent Acquisition team has its' challenges, so the individual needs to be able to adapt and be organised amongst the change around them. However, amongst the challenges, you will be entering a supportive and collaborative team, where everyone is heard and supported no matter what.

The Talent Acquisition Advisor is an integral part of a busy high performing Talent Team, where you will deliver a wide variety of recruitment for band A-D roles. The role will deliver filling a variety of vacancies across the organisation. The successful individual will work independently to deliver circa 20 requisitions at any one time and will also work collaboratively as part of a wider team to manage more complex Talent Acquisition projects, as well as answering policy/process requests where required.
You will report into the Talent Acquisition Team Leads. Where necessary you will also be required to work with Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partners and the wider TA team, from Sourcing to Onboarding to ensure BBC-wide opportunities are realised and value created.
Additionally you will be required to:
• Deliver an exemplary end to end resourcing service for permanent and FTC hiring from role kick-off, screening and scheduling to closing and onboarding candidates. You’ll bring your personality, relationship building and expertise to help evolve how we deliver recruitment for our stakeholders.
• Work proactively with internal stakeholders to ensure a connected approach, balancing the need to improve the employee experience with commercial reality.
• Ensure inclusive recruitment processes and practices are followed
• Work closely with Sourcing in an integrated way to drive continuous improvement and process ownership across recruitment and sourcing ensuring a seamless candidate and hiring manager experience.
• Build relationships with and act as the specialist point of contact for recruitment Bands A-D
• Manage any queries from hiring managers or candidates relating to quality of service.
• Responsible for escalating issues and queries as deemed necessary and in the appropriate manner.
• Ensure delivery against service level agreements and KPIs to enhance the reputation of the BBC Talent Acquisition function through excellent service and professionalism.
• Contribute to a culture of service excellence and role-modelling of BBC Values and
Behaviours by supporting continuous improvement, bringing insights into the organisation to identify opportunities, risks and priorities.
