Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an experienced Civil & Structural Engineer to lead the Transmission & Distribution capability in the UK. The role combines technical leadership, design management, training, and client-facing support on major T&D projects.

You will act as a technical authority and Design Manager, mentoring engineers, supporting bid activity, and helping grow our T&D service offering with a proactive, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered (CEng MIStructE / MICE).
• 10+ years in civil/structural with T&D exposure.
• Experience with National Grid/DNOs and UK standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical leadership for UK T&D projects.
• Deliver training strategy for civil/structural engineers.
• Support bid, client meetings, and marketing efforts.
• Provide input to planning, resources, and risk management.
